CONVEYANCING

Buying and selling a home can be one of the big upheavals of your life.  Whether you are purchasing your first home, refinancing, upgrading or downgrading your current home or buying an investment property, the legal requirements can be frustrating and daunting.

At Pillar Lawyers we will help you through the legalities and make your conveyancing experience a good experience.  All at a reasonable price.

LEASING

Your business is a valuable asset.

If you are a landlord, then it is important to have a lease tailored to your premises that protects your rights as the owner of the premises.

If you are a tenant, it is important that the landlord's lease reflects the flexibility that your business will require of the lease, with no hidden nasty clauses.

At Pillar Lawyers we understand the difference between a commercial lease and a retail lease.  We know the procedures necessary to enter into a lease, to transfer and assign a lease to another party and to surrender a lease.

If you want expert advice on your lease/s, then Pillar Lawyers can help you.

WILLS

You spend your life working hard, acquiring assets and gaining wealth.  And yet, you cannot take it with you when you die.

Do not underestimate the value of a good Will.  A good Will considers your assets, your beneficiaries and your wishes.  A good Will is like taking out a good insurance policy.  And it will protect your assets.  Don't let your Estate be a legal nightmare.  Make sure you see a solicitor experienced in the drafting of Wills and guarantee your peace of mind.

If you do not have a Will, you have recently married or recently divorced, make an appointment to see Pillar Lawyers today.

POWER OF ATTORNEY

A Power of Attorney is a powerful document.  At Pillar Lawyers, we believe every person should have a Power of Attorney to accompany their Will.

A Power of Attorney is a document which is used to appoint another person as your attorney and gives your attorney the power to conduct your financial affairs.  The attorney can be appointed for specific reasons or general reasons.  A Power of Attorney which is general and enduring will mean your financial affairs can be managed by your attorney in the event of an absence overseas, if you are in a coma, if you suffer dementia or Alzheimer's Disease or other similar factors.
